Our Story

   The Starlight Performers was created in August 2006 when sisters Lauren Dickinson, and Lynel Forlenza, with their friend Dara Simon decided to pool their talents and create a drama club for developmentally disabled adults.  In each of their lives was a challenged person with amazing performing arts talents.  They wanted to create a venue where these talents could be showcased to the public. With the help of very dedicated volunteers who also share their belief ; they have written and performed original plays that will make you laugh, cry, and cheer.
